In Austin, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Texas, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–1 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Drinkle at (512) 924-5149; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, drinklecoffee.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 279 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Austin and suggests consistent service.

Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Austin peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

For the review below, it is still a coffee shop! ☺️ I absolutely love this shop, you can get ice cream or coffee all day! I’m on a personal challenge to try every latte they have. So far Mocha Rocha and Cinderella are my favorite, but they have like 20! (On top of danishes, regular coffee, lemonade, tea - all of the things, and of course ice cream!)

I highly recommend this place! They have a cozy atmosphere with gentle, nearly quiet music playing making it very easy to have conversation with someone without having to fight background noise. They have redesigned the menu to have new kid friendly options like ice creams and floats. For adults they have also coffee bean related drinks, teas, wines, and beers. They have many more items, but this is all i could remember. The quality is always consistent. The pistachio latte i get is incredibly delicious and is hands down the best latte I've ever tried! It's a great hole in the wall to go to for a romantic date, or want to take the kids out for a treat. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have daily perks that give also sorts free or discounted stuff. Check the napkin dispensers on the tables to see what they have going on for that day. I've met the owner and she's very kind, passionate, and compassionate. The type of person that always makes you feel welcomed. I've been going for years, and will continue to go for many more years! Go and give them your business instead of going to the multi-billion dollar companies. The coffee is better and your money stays local.

This is THE BEST coffee shop in the Round Rock/Cedar Park/North Austin Area. Not only is the service friendly and with a smile, and PATIENT, but the drinks and deserts are delicious and the atmosphere is TEA. I got a Rose Latte -- this is the only spot in Austin I have found to have this item. It was absolutely delicious. The deserts were also quality and wonderful. The atmosphere is EVEN BETTER. You've got lots of huge, modern windows and this shop is situated in a spot where light is coming through at all hours of the daytime. This is a wonderful meeting spot for a work meeting, date, to do school work, really anything - especially if you need the invigorating energy of the light to carry you through. The coffee shop has modern interior and exterior which is lively and aesthetic to be in. The decor is comfy-cozy with the homey touches of all the knit stuffs throughout and fun post it notes from patrons at the counter. I am honestly DEVASTATED I have not checked this place out 3 years ago. HIDDEN Gem! Always quiet. Gorgeous, high quality Everything. Will be coming here more regularly and bringing friends and visitors from out of town. Just absolute excellence.

Lovely vegan friendly local cafe! πŸ‘Œ We went in to pick up some coffee and got chocolate. The place is done up really nicely and has a very relaxed vibe. The hot chocolate was on the sweeter side but we hardly had to wait and it was piping hot. Coffee was decent. The best part was they had alternate milks You should stop over if you have a few people to sit and chill. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating for both small and larger groups.

I recently visited Drinkle Coffee Shop with my husband and our youngest child, and we had a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of food and drink options available for both adults and kids. The variety of seating choices was impressiveβ€”we chose to sit outside, where it was comfortably shaded and felt nicely private. Since it was our first time visiting, my husband and I tried a few different food and drinks, while we relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere for a few hours. The entire space, both indoors and outdoors, was exceptionally clean. Unlike some other coffee chains, there weren’t tons of tempting items cluttering the counters, so our child wasn’t constantly reaching for thingsβ€”which made it even more peaceful. We had a truly relaxing time, and most importantly, our son really enjoyed himself too. We also had coffee beverages but forgot to take photos.
